Jest kilka lat temu. Czytasz gazetę. “Inaczej wyobrażałam sobie Europę. Nie sądziłam, że będę mieszkać pod ziemią”. Myślisz o kimś, kto mówi o sobie takimi zdaniami, i o drodze, którą musiał przejść. Najpierw bomby, potem morze i przepełnione łodzie, które patrole zawracały z powrotem w kierunku bomb. Europa rozmywała się, raz kurczyła, a raz rozciągała aż do cieniutkiej linii ledwo widocznego horyzontu. W końcu udało się. Tylko że Europa widziana z bliska okazała się siecią podziemnych schronów i rosnących w dół wieżowców. Pustym basenem, w którym nikomu nie grozi utonięcie. Dziwne! I ten nastrój... Jakby dopiero co skończył się pokaz iluzjonistyczny. Albo jakby seans był zarezerwowany dla malejącej grupy wybranych. A tam pod ziemią trwały jakieś intensywne ćwiczenia z dystopii.
A to tylko jedno zdanie z gazety, kilka lat temu.
